Exposé
Exposé is a solo performance investigating usage of public speaking in the context of performing arts. Solo exposes the ongoing problems and obstacles behind local Health Care System and funding/support for patients with rare diseases (e.g. Primary Immunodeficiency), through hybrid artistic form mixing practices of public speech and contemporary dance/choreography. Specific aim in this work is: to use this hybrid artistic mixture, as medium for increasing the visibility of PID and its socio-political relevance in society. Expose addresses this issue to different/new audiences within specific public spaces (e.g. theatre venues, cultural centres etc), that are alternative contexts to familiar areas of communicating about PID within public sphere (health care conferences, panels, media etc). It aims to expand the public knowledge on rare diseases and PID further in social circles and make it more present/visible.
